I'm Seeking A Gig...
I'm on the lookout for an established working band in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area. If an opportunity materializes requiring me to relocate I would need to be able to stay based out my home in La Crescent, Minnesota. I would be OK with Las Vegas for the right situation. I'm not at all interested in Los Angeles. I lived there for 9 years back in the ‘80s and have no desire to return.
I can play pretty much anything from Credence Clearwater Revival to Neil Diamond, and from Led Zeppelin to KISS. And NO! I will NOT play "Eruption" nor will I play Metallica. Metallica blows! (But I do Skynyrd...)
Even though I have CDs of my original music available, I'm more interested in just playing cover tunes at this point. I will continue to share my original music here on a strictly donation basis.
My strengths are that I can play pretty much any style of music. I can learn new songs very quickly and although I have never actually tallied them up, I'm sure I must know well over 500 songs that for the most part I can play signature. Close enough for the critics anyway...
I have reliable transportation and my rig serves up several stages of juicy gain from pristine clean to fire breathing that can cover most any type of music. I can even patch in my Original Scholz Rockman Sustainor for Boston tunes too if need be. All gain stages are channeled to multiple effects (flanger, phasor, several delays, chorus, wah-wah, octave, pitch shift, harmony, and of course REVERB!) patches which allows me to accommodate any genre of music from Credence to KISS.
One more very important item I need to mention is that I am not interested in working with people with substance abuse issues or sociopathic personalities. More specifically, anything harder than cannabis or a cold beer every now and I wouldn't be interested.
I am also not interested in working with people who smoke cigarettes.
Also not interested in playing with anyone who's having "wifey" issues. I'm not married so I don't want to be privy to someone else's marital woes. I will not capitulate on this.
I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but if I'm going to do music, I need to be involved with people who are as serious about it as I will be.
Interested parties can contact me from my contact page.
